Do not overread the launch spike
A good launch can create traffic, praise, and momentum. It can also hide weak onboarding, unclear value, or poor return intent.
Measure what happened next
- Who reached the product?
- Who completed the intended experience?
- Who got stuck?
- Who said they would return?
- What should change before the next push?
Use follow-up questions carefully
Feedback is strongest when it is connected to what the person actually did. Ask about the experience, not whether they like the founder's idea.
